The two last days Ken and I had on tour together we more or less spent traversing the desert, the Anti- and the High-Atlas mountains in order to get as far north as Fes, where I had a rendezvous with the travel-party for my upcoming Draa Valley Explorer overland trip.
The last night we passed the wery nothern regions of the Atlas and slept in a lovely hilly area with trees, some spots of snow from the resent snowfall, and a few curious wild dogs, - just some 40 km. south of Fes. Heading back to tarmac the following morning I learned that the area was soon to be converted into a golf course, progress is not always to the best.
