I have returned one more time to check in on my love of my life. Her welcome was rather on the reserved side, welcoming the engine-bonnet on my Geländewagen with a very cold embrace, tears fell in a constant flow from the pale and featureless grey sky above the harbour. I was disappointed for a short while. But knowing Iceland like I do, you will soon remember that it's a bad idea to have expectations of warm affections and nice summer weather, - one will never know what mood she's in.

This time I have arrived with no return ticket and no schedule at all for my return. It sure fells very nice.
