As we day by day venture further west towards the North Atlantic Ocean, the more snow-covered mountaintops the generous Pyrenees presents us with, - as if she wanted to spare the best stuff for later. And as we entered the kingdom of Andorra today, and began to climb the numerous switchbacks, it all exploded in wonderful impressions of lovely vistas, the smells of the lurking springtime and the intense sensation of the soft warm winds gently caressing our grateful suntanned cheeks and bare arms in our t-shirts.
So I attached a big smile to my face all day long today; - the reason being not alone the stunning landscape, but the perfect mid-morning espresso in enjoyed in a tiny picturesque café in a tiny village in the mountains.
