Nearly everybody seems to go with the flow of the river of life. I, myself have also just passed life as an individual in the shoal of fish, although I have been firm upon my deeper principles throughout my life, leading to the fact that my kids have not been baptized nor confirmed, and my wedding was at City Hall.

So I too have been following the river downstream for extended periods of my lifetime; then recently I decided to finally take a major turn off the path; I have left my job and hence the safety of the monthly paycheck. I decided I had to take a break for a while, to fight the flow of the river. We all try so hard to achieve, to succeed, to climb the next summit, that life often passes us by in a hazy blur. Most people fill their daily schedules to the brim, so that they will be to busy to just take time to be, to reflect on life and the beauty of it all.

Traveling around for three month in North Africa and Spain have been a great pleasure for me. Since my divorce seven years ago, I have succeed in having a quieted life and do a lot of traveling, - I have achieved to gain time to think and reflect on life. Coming to the conclusion that life is less about striving and more about finding a place of inner rest and calm, to find a place to be content in.

I have found that a humble space can also be just perfect, - less can suit you just fine.
